Robin Williams (Popeye, Mr. Doutfire) has passed away from suspected suicide. He is the greatest comedian actor to hit the world, from my point of view! He will be forever remembered, in my mind, as Mork from Ork!
Eli Wallach, of The Good the Bad and The Ugly and The Godfather: Part III fame, has died. He was one of the founding members of the Actors Studio. This legend willbe missed!
On Monday, June 16th, Padres and SDSU fans lost a great, great man, Tony Gwynn. I grew up watching the Padres in the 80's, starting in '82. (I was 8 going on 9!) He was the kind of guy who would sign autographs after he was done with a game. He was only one of three (that I know of) that made a career with one ball team for their entire career. (The other two are Dan Fouts for the San Diego Chargers and Cal Ripken, Jr. for the Baltimore Orioles.) I had never met the man, but he was the best and was never accused of juicing for a better batting average. I and many will miss you, Mr. Padre!
I have been on Home since December 2010, so I have amassed alot over the 3+ years that I have been on. And I have seen it change as well. Central Plaza is now the Hub. Pottermore is on Home. I have done the challenges and made friends. Now I think it might be time to take Home to a whole new level: thePS4! With its power, Home on the PS4 can be the best experiance ever, with more slots for items to be placed in the apartments (more wall hangings), interacting with things like shelves, a better storage for clothing and items (a bank/closet?) that are rewarded and purchased. The PS3 has its limits, but the PS4 can be so much more for Home! Please Sony, make Home for the PS4!
PS Home List on the PS4: 1. More slots in apartments for furnishings, pictures and clocks! 2. A bank/closet for clothing that was purchased and/or rewarded. 3. Keeping the character that was made in PS Home on PS3! 4. Selling of purchased items and apartments. 5. Recording a vlog from Home without any extra equipment.
As Memorial Day Weekend comes to a close this year, we are to remember those who lost their lives, whether on the battlefield of Veitnam, Iraq, Iran or here on the home soil of the USA, we need to remember who gave us the right to say and do the things we do and to fight our own battles. To those of you who lost your life, I salute you for your bravery and your loyalty to an idea of freedom of speech and the RIGHT TO BARE GUNS!
This is what I would like in my PS4: 1. Apps: A. A YouTube app update that will allow the user comment, go to the defferent links and to be able to love stream without a celphone number! B. A Wordpad/Notepad app to write out letters, wishlists, blogs, guides, e-mails, that sort of thing. Then post it, or e-mail it. (Even if we had to pay for it!) C. A music app that will allow cds/mp3s to be played on and uploaded to the PS4 or a server! D. Social apps for Facebook, Twitter, E-mail, Flickr, podcast app or an all-in-one social app that has the afore mentioned apps, a radio app. 2. A SHAREfactory update that would include uploading to sites like YouTube, Twitter, Flickr and Blogger! Also in the update, the user can record/edit an audio podcast and/or a vlog and upload it to a server or PS4 hard drive. 3. Uploading pictures to blog posts and on the PS4 or a server like Flickr! 4. PSHome for those that want it on the PS4! 5. Longer record times on the PS4 hard drive. Limiting it up to 15 minutes is not enough time! 6. The ability to read PDFs on the PS4. 7. A chatroom that can go in between PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
Today the sad news of John Pinette's death has been 'wide' spread! John Pinette, from what I know of him, loves food and said 'nay, nay' to two things: water slides and bungie jumping! He wil be missed.
Project Morpheus is a new virtual reality for the PlayStation4. I know what you are thinking: Morpheus? Isn't he from The Matrix? True, but unfortunately, no. From the creators of the PlayStation family (Sony), the Morpheus they are refering to is the god of dreams. And this is what the vr head set is supposed to do- create dreams that are games. It looks like the Occulus Rift for the PS4. I might get one if it comes out. I will certainly review it.
Focal secmental glomeruloscerosis is a little known kidney disease that can effect anyone at anytime. It is a more common disease today than what one might think. What it basicly is, is the hardening of the kidneys. You can do this through long use of arthritis medications like Arthrotec and a diet high in salt and potassium. I was diagnosed with FSGS in October of 2012. I am a Stage 4, a step below before going in for dialysis. Right now, I am fine. But I know that one wrong thing could send me to dialysis. So eat well and don't gain the weight!
I want you to know that I will post as often as I can with things that are happening where I am, what I like and where I will be going. If you agree or disagree with what I like, that is you! Your opinion is yours and my opinion is mine. If you start to say that I do not know what I am talking about on a subject that apperently either you know very little about or just want to make yourself an idiot in front of every one, go ahead and do it. I will calmly prove to you that you are wrong and that you need to be informed more before you take a stance. I will like things that you might not like and vise versa. That is why we, as humans, are different. I will not throw my beliefs on you and trust you not to do the same. Godspeed to you and yours!
